Smart LP - Loading Point Solution is specially designed for Sugar Industry. The application is designed to prevent / reduce fraud in the transportation of Sugar Cane from the Loading Point (LP) to the Gate of Sugar Mill.
Currently in the sugar industry there are number of ways a transporter can easily cheat the sugar mills, there is no proper tracking of the vehicle. In the current scenario i.e. traditional system a paper is given to the transporter having the stamp of the loading point the vehicle has began its journey. During the journey the transporter has to stamp its paper at different checkpost. Lastly when it reaches the gate of the mill the paper is given to the token post. There it is verified.
In the above system there are numerous loop holes i.e. the piece of paper which is given to the transporter can easily be duplicated. similarly the stamp used in the verification process can also be duplicated. All these frauds can incur huge losses to the sugar mills. The cost of transportation has increased in recent years due to which the Mill has to pay a heavy amount to the transporter for caryying the cane.
